When a question becomes a job Ask for a report, a structured document or a text of a given length and the house treats it as long-form work: it runs as a job rather than a single answer, so it can take the time it needs.
Following the work The Job tab of the Context panel shows progress. You can keep reading or leave and come back; the job continues.
How to ask Say what the deliverable is and how long it should be — "a 1,500-word briefing", "a structured report with sections on…". State the sources you want used or avoided, and the language. The finished document arrives in the conversation and can be exported as Markdown.
Ceilings still apply Long-form work uses the most model calls. The per-request cost ceiling described in What the tester release costs you applies to it as to everything else.
